Dear friends and neighbours, Welcome to the Halton PC Association website! I invite you to take a look around, to read the news stories, sign a petition and watch some of my videos. There's a lot going on these days at Queen's Park and this is a good place to learn about the issues. And as the news is always changing, please visit often. Ontario is in the midst of a harsh economic downturn. As the PC Critic for Economic Development and Trade, I am constantly monitoring the state of the economy and listening to the experts. While I admit that the current recession is global, there are several things that the Liberal government should be doing to ease the pain and to plan for the future. But under Dalton McGuinty, the Ontario government is only making things worse. Instead of implementing a broad, long-term economic plan, the Liberals are busy implementing bans and chasing media cameras. This reckless behaviour must end! A PC victory in 2011 under our new leader Tim Hudak is the best hope to put Ontario back on top. Our team has the vision, the expertise and the merit that we need right now. The election seems far off, but we are already beginning to plan. If you want to be part of the team, join the Association today.
